Based in Geneva this offshore trust job is for one of the global wealth management leaders.
The Trust Analyst is responsible for the day to day administration of trust and corporate structures under the guidance of the Trust Officer. They have overall responsibilities for maintaining all corporate formalities required for the good governance of the companies within their portfolio.
In this well paid Swiss job you can expect to have a number of core duties. These are
- Maintenance of Directors' and Shareholders' Registers and any other statutory records
- Liaising with the Registrar of Companies for corporate documents (e.g. for certificate of good standing)
- Legalization of corporate documents with relevant government agencies
- Updating of trust and company information into CIS (client information system)
- Preparing required resolutions / minutes required to approve actions to be taken by the Company's directors etc.
- Preparing and processing required documentation for all account openings and closures including corporate minutes or resolutions as required.
- Preparing and processing letters, Power of Attorneys and other documentation (special investment, etc…) as required.
- Preparing and processing of transactions over the structure approved by the Trust Officer including documentation required for distributions, Credit facilities and ensuring that all required trust & company resolutions are in place to support the activity,
- Preparing and processing of resolutions for company liquidations and transfers
- Preparing the financial statement cover letters
- Ensures proper communication to accounting and fee billing
To be considered for the Trust Analyst position you should be able to display several years experience with the offshore trust industry.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word and ability to adapt to new systems. Combined with that, you will have outstanding organizational and communication skills and the ability to work within strict deadlines, whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
