Guernsey based provider of corporate fiduciary services, servicing a global client base, is urgently looking for a Senior Corporate Secretary.
The Corporate Secretariat area is part of the corporate fiduciary department in St Peter Port.
This team ensures that the companies clients adhere to the Corporate Governance requirements as directed by the GFSC. They facilitate the clients company’s meetings, maintain their Statutory records make any regulatory announcements and manage any Ad Hoc issues.
As Senior Corporate Secretary you can expect to be responsible for the delivery of high quality Corporate Secretariat services by the Corporate Secretarial team in accordance with service level agreements, fund documentation and regulatory requirements.
You will be expected to facilitate a seamless transition of new client business into Corporate Secretariat department in a co-operative manner, ensuring that the client’s needs are clearly understood and can be satisfactorily met.
In this well paid Guernsey job it is expected that you will provide a high level technical guidance and support to own team and to contribute towards the development and enhancement of processes, ensuring best practice and Fiduciary standards and procedures.
To be considered for the Senior Corporate Secretary position you should have an excellent knowledge of the relevant laws of the Guernsey and Jersey regimes.
A good understanding of the importance of controls and the fiduciary responsibility of directors, is essential in this offshore Trust job.
You must also have a good understanding of the features of the different types of relevant asset classes.
Finally you will hold the ICSA Professional or other similar qualification and have several years relevant experience.
