To be considered it is expected that you will have at least two years underwriting experience, ideally within the commercial claims sector underwriting, plus you will need a good all round knowledge of the insurance market.
You should be comfortable in drafting insurance documentation - policy wordings and schedules, service agreements, claims handling agreements, reinsurance policies.
It is expected you will hold the ACII or similar, or at least be working towards it. On occasions you will be required to present to the board, thus, it is essential you have first rate written and oral communications skills.
