Due to continued expansion this European insurance group is actively recruiting a new Underwriter to work out of their Gibraltar Head quarters.
The Underwriter job will involve drafting and reviewing insurance documentation – policy wordings, service agreements, claims handling agreements and reinsurance contracts.
The main function of this role is to provide support to the Underwriting Manager, however you will be expected to work on your own initiative and manage delegated tasks independently.
To be considered for the Underwriter vacancy you will be able to demonstrate a good level of practical insurance knowledge, however candidates with Legal Secretarial experience may also be considered.
The successful candidate should be self motivated, with good interpersonal and organisational skills, as the ability to liaise at all levels, both internally and externally, is essential.
