The Guernsey office of this well known wealth management practice is seeking a Quantitative Research and Risk Monitoring Manager to join their portfolio management unit.
The main responsibilities of a Quantitative Research and Risk Monitoring Manager is to be responsible for the development of risk monitoring tools and applications for use within the wealth management's divisions multi-manager investment products.
You will be expected to assist with portfolio construction, the identification of potential investments and the monitoring of existing holdings from a quantitative perspective. In addition you will have to actively participate on a number of business critical investment committees.
To be considered for this well paid offshore fund job you will be able to demonstrate at least five years experience in Quants and the expected quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. This Quantitative Research and Risk Monitoring Manager position will suit somebody with a strong background/training in mathematics, and statistics, but who can combine this with the interviewing techniques and effective communication skills necessary for the qualitative responsibilities.
A high level of IT skills will also be necessary, particularly in areas such as Excel. Previous experience in with some of the other established fund providers is desirable.
