International wealth management house and house hold name is looking to recruit a talented Investment Analyst for its Douglas office.
This well established player provides international wealth management, legal, fiduciary and business services to a client base throughout Europe and other parts of the world, including blue-chip organisations and multinationals, as well as high net worth individuals and families.
The Investment Analyst will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and the Investment Director, who are responsible for the operational management of the asset management team (s).
As Investment Analyst you will assist high net worth individuals to structure, protect and grow their wealth through the provision of general wealth management servicing including discretionary portfolio management, investment advisory and consultancy services.
Besides your involvement with the selection, monitoring and management of the Funds; as Investment Analyst you will also include client relationship and business development responsibilities.
Common duties you can expect to be engaged in this well paid Isle of Man job include:
- Investment and economic research
- Quantitative and qualitative due diligence on various funds and investment instruments
- Fund analysis and manager interviews
- Preparing investment proposals
- Preparing quarterly board packs for the funds managed
- Implementing investment decisions
- Constructing and managing portfolios
- Implementing investment philosophies and policies
- The individual will also need to manage the Trust investment review process
- Reviewing the investment portfolios for trusts
The Investment Analyst will also involve Client relation management, business development and Marketing and Sales. These will often involve assisting in arranging and coordinating road shows and regular meetings with clients.
For consideration for the Investment Analyst job the successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in an asset management operation and have a first rate understanding of investment products, industry rules and regulations.
