Job Specification

This leading Swiss private bank with a growing presence in Switzerland, the Middle East and Asia are looking for a Head of Hedge Funds for their Central Asset Management department in Zurich.

The bank offers solutions for high net worth clients, families and institutional investors with sophisticated wealth management and investment requirements. The fastest growing business unit within this offshore banks arsenal is its Hedge Fund department.

The Head of Hedge Funds will run that team and lead the development that business. This is a very prestigious Swiss fund job – some of the key duties include running the Portfolio Management of a series of Funds and Managing the banks Centre of Competence for Hedge Funds.

In this high profile offshore fund job you can expect to be the public face of the banks fund business and therefore be making speeches / Presentations and Client Reporting.

As Head of Hedge Funds you will also be responsible for the 3rd party Fund-of-Hedge Fund Selection and the selection / management / review of Hedge Fund Platforms.

Finally as you will expect the Head of Hedge Funds maintains the partnership with the Fund Custodian and the development of that relationship.

To be considered for the Head of Hedge Funds position you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in managing Fund-of-Hedge Funds and in running Hedge Funds Analysis teams.

It is expected you will have at least five years of experience in Portfolio Management. On the education side you should be a graduate with a degree plus additional degrees in Portfolio Management / Analysis (i.e. CFA, CAIA, CIIA, CEFA).

It would be beneficial if you have a previous history of successful Speeches / Presentations and applicants with media handling and investor relations experience will be welcomed.
