The Head of Fund Operations does exactly that - the management and Organisation of Fund.
The role can be split down in certain areas. The actual Fund Operations Management includes the definition, documentation, implementation, optimisation and controlling of all processes.You must ensure identification, management and documentation of all risks relating to fund operations.
As Head of Fund Operation you also manage the entire operations team and as such will be involved in staff management and coaching, the setting of objectives and the monitoring of performance and achievements. You will support new strategic moves in the fund business by ensuring flexibility, quality and service offering.
You will also act as an senior executive and be charged with the review and implementation of changes due to regulatory changes, be a key component of meeting present and future Corporate Governance requirements and ensure compliance with FINMA, ESTV, SFA directives.
You can also expect to have a role in new product development - where operational input is required.
Finally you will act as first point of contact for all operational matter with external partners and stake holders, like external auditors.
To be considered for the Head of Fund Operations position you will have at least five funds experience, preferably in Switzerland.
You will be able to demonstrate a expertise in fund administration, fund accounting, transfer agent and custody.
Essentially you will have sufficient professional experience to be qualified by FINMA as executive in a fund management company.
