Leading private equity fund manager headquartered in Guernsey is seeking to add to its senior management team, by hiring a Funds Director. This is an extremely well paid job.
Your core responsibilities will be to provide strategic direction to the business, as well as upholding all regulatory and compliance processes across the fund accounting and fund administration teams.
At present the equity funds under management are offshore funds with activities in buy-outs as well as mezzanine finance. You will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the fund accounting including, in particular, the quarterly financial and capital statements in accordance with strict reporting deadlines.
Coupled with these day to day activities as a member of relevant fund Boards you will be responsible for investment and divestment decisions in liaison with other internal experts.
Other responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with the relevant constitutional terms of reference and determining and implementing investment holding structures in liaison with internal and external advisors.
To be considered you will be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or similar) with a minimum of eight years PQE, and will have extensive previous exposure to fund accounting from either an audit or administration environment.
In addition, you should be able to demonstrate sound and proven business management skills, and be comfortable working in an informal, hands-on working environment.
