This Malta based bank and investment house is looking to add an Investment Services Officer to its Investment Services department, based at its Valleta head quarters.
Reporting to the Manager of the Investment Services department, the Investment Services Officer is responsible for the promotion and selling of Investments and Insurance products and services and to provide investment advice to clients.
Some of the main duties identified for the Investment Services Officer are to develop new and profitable relationships with high net worth clients and generate additional revenue streams from existing clients.
Central to this will be the promotion and sale of investment and insurance products and services. Coupled with that in this well paid Malta job you will have to ensure that the required regulatory forms and related documents are filled and forwarded in a timely manner.
You will also be asked to inform colleagues about new investment and insurance products and provide the department head with up to date statistics on sales figures and leads generated on a regular basis.
Finally it sales situations where the transactions exceed agreed limits you will escalate these prospects leads to the Supervisor (Investment Services) and/or Manager (Private Clients) as applicable.
To be considered for the Investment Services Officer vacancy you must be a customer focused banking professional with a genuine a flair for sales. It is expected you will be able to demonstrate at least two years over target performance in a previous financial sales job.
It is expected you will have a very good understanding of banking practices – if that experience was gained in a previous banking job in Malta that would be beneficial.
You must be a highly motivated and dynamic individual – comfortable with continued development. For example should you not hold the CEFA qualification you will be asked to study for it.
Finally it is expected that to deliver real success in this offshore banking job you will have to be prepared to work irregular hours and to visit clients’ homes or offices when necessary.
