Credit Analyst – Luxembourg Job – Offshore banking

The Luxembourg subsidiary of this German Savings bank is urgently seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to strengthen their Risk management department.

The Credit Analyst is tasked with the analysis of credit exposures worldwide - primarily across the areas of corporate, acquisition, project and property finance.

In this Luxembourg job you will work closely with colleagues in the German head quarters of the group.

As Credit Analyst you create a detailed and sound analysis based on rating and balance sheet analysis from the parent company.

Common duties in this well paid offshore banking job include risk assessment in relation to all the sub-groups, as well as in the regular monitoring and adjustment of the total loan portfolio strategy.

For consideration for the Credit Analyst position you must have at least two years as a credit analyst in a bank, preferably a German one.

In addition, you will have completed a bank training and / or economics degree or adequate training (e.g. Frankfurt School of Finance).

You will be a skilled “power user” of Excel and have extensive experience in creating computer based financial models.

You will be fluent in English and it would be beneficial, from a living and working point of view, if you spoke French.

Finally the bank is looking for a person who is not only focused upon their individual duties, but is also able to keep the overall group context in mind.
