Job Specification

This international bank and global custody house is urgently seeking an experienced and ambitious Fund Accountant for its Luxembourg operation.
As Senior Fund Accountant you can expect to be given a designated portfolio of funds to maintain. Your core duties will be:

The calculation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly NAV
The validation of all data in the fund
The preparation of monthly /quarterly/ semi annual and annual reporting
Maintenance of relevant files for both valuation and audit purposes
The resolution of client and auditor’s queries
Supervision of duties executed by the Fund Accountant
Maintenance and update of accounting procedure

To be considered for the Senior Fund Accountant position you must hold a degree in accounting , economics or finance. This must be coupled with at least four years experience in fund accounting.

It would be beneficial, but in no way essential, if you had some exposure to Sungard Invest One.

You will also need a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Bloomberg.
