This growth has created the well paid accountancy job of Chief Financial Officer. The role will be based in the UK operations office, the Gibraltar head quarters or amongst the companies many global developments. Expect to travel.
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you can expect to be asked to supervise and report to the board the running of all finance teams – in the UK, Gibraltar and amongst the related global property developments.
As well as managing a small, growing team of Business Support Analysts and Accountants, you will be a key member of the Management team. Indeed a real business partner and peer to the groups Chairman.
You can expect in this senior offshore accountancy job to prepare and deliver business critical financial support and information. At the drop of a hat you can expect to be asked about the fiscal side of the business – therefore you will have to learn the business in and out.
It is expected you will identify areas to improve the company’s performance; deliver KPIs that enable the Chairman and board to drive real business improvement – which is visible in the bottom line.
Besides taking on the usual Chief Financial Officer duties you will have a role in setting strategic direction, delivering and making decisions happen.
It is also a driven, results orientated, entrepreneurial enterprise and in this Chief Financial Officer job you can expect to work daily with the business founder. As such you will be a source of advice and experience for him to draw up on.
You will be extensively involved in directing the overall finance function, bidding for projects and related functions supporting capital market activities and M & A transactions.

To be considered you will a qualified accountant already be working in a similar role and will have a strong background in financial analysis and decision support.

A commercial and strategic thinker – you will in many respects become the right hand of the business owner. Experience in floating a company would be really useful as such developments are planned. Of course you are confident with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels.
